August Mini-Challenge

The August mini-challenge here at the Challenge That Dare Not Speak Its Name is all about GLBT speculative fiction. Fantasy, science fiction, dystopia, and all the rest. Your challenge is to read a GLBT speculative book or short story. We welcome all links on this topic in the Mr. Linky below.

Also, keep an eye on the blog - we hope to have some guest posts about GLBT speculative fiction! If you've like to volunteer to write something on the topic, we welcome that too!

I'm so excited to see this. I've been looking for more GLBT speculative fiction!

My book isn't published yet, but it's GLBT sci-fi. I've linked a few chapters in the widget.

Leah, the linky is only for book reviews, so I had to remove the link. However, if you'd like to do a guest post and talk about the genre (your book sounds fascinating!) this would be a perfect and you can link to your website that way! Sorry for the delete - I just can only have reviews on there. I hope you understand!

Oops, that was meant to say "a perfect month."

Ah, got it! I just stumbled across this and wasn't sure exactly how it works. Still checking out the site now. I'm very glad I found it.

Glad you found us too! We're a reading challenge designed to get people reading more GLBT lit all throughout the year. :) August's mini-challenge is focusing on speculative so we're trying to get people to contribute guest posts to talk about GLBT spec lit, either a survey of books or about the genre or whatever topic. You can contact us using the addresses in the side bar. :)

How about a book by Jes Battis? I have one here that I've been waiting to read, part of the Hex series.

Fantastic - I love the speculative fiction theme. I have a few books I've been tardy in reviewing, so maybe this will be the gentle kick in the butt I need.
