Hi Amanda and Jen - I took an English course in college called Lesbian Literature. Our reading list was diverse, from texts that would be clearly be named "lesbian" to others that would not but focus on worlds or situations that are almost completely female. I remember reading: Beebo Brinker The Young in One Another's Arms Housekeeping The Country of the Pointed Firs Patience and Sarah Rubyfruit Jungle My Name is Elsa and I Come with my Songs Trash

The American Library Association publishes a yearly Rainbow Bibliography of LGBT-inclusive YA/children's books.
